Publisher Description
Windows UAC Manager is the free command-line tool to quickly enable or disable User Account Control (UAC) on your Windows system.
User Account Control (UAC) is a new security feature (introduced since Vista) that enables users to perform common tasks as non-administrators and as administrators without having to switch users, log off, or use Run As. It works by prompting for permission when a task requires administrative rights, such as installing software or changing settings that affect other users.
But sometimes it becomes annoying to keep waiting and hitting on these prompts at times for an elevation of the user rights. In such cases Windows UAC Manager can help you to quickly and easily disable UAC. Later on whenever you want, you can easily enable it back again.
Here are salient features of Windows UAC Manager
* Simple & Easy to Use Tool
* Quickly Enable or Disable UAC
* Automatically checks for current status of UAC before enabling/disabling it
* Command-line based tool makes it good for Automation
* Fully portable tool, does not require installation
'Windows UAC Manager' works on both both 32 bit & 64 bit versions and tested successfully on all Windows Platforms starting from Windows Vista to Windows 8.
